Hardwick Special Specials. What you'll find

The question is asked "Hardwick's??? What do they sell?"

The short list is pretty impressive:
New and used hand and electric tools, fancy and regular hardware, some of the best woodworking and power tools made (Milwaukee, Lie-Nielsen Hand Planes, Stabila Levels, Starrett Measuring Tools, Irwin, Vaughn, Crown, Veritas, North Bay Forge...) They have Japanese Hand Saws, Logging tools, Jewelry, Masonry, Glazier, Iron, Leather & Upholstery tools. Kitchen, Housewares, Furniture (sometimes even Antiques) and all new or used. Specialty kitchen gadgets and simple grapefruit knives. Plumbing and nuts, bolts and screws (you don't even have to buy a box or bag of them. Just one or two, whatever you need for your task.

All that and served with an attitude of sass that says "if we like you, we'll yell kindly";-)

Hardwick's, Socially Active and Re-Active.

GR here, your tour guide to the wonderful world of Hardwicks.

For you socially responsible folks out there: Not only is Hardwick's a recycler of classic tools (and has been since 1932) but they put their hard-earned money where their heart is: In public ervice. They sponsor "Benjamin Franklin - Live! & Inperson-ated" (a first-person Chatauqua event) into schools, libraries, business meetings, etc., and a major portion of all proceeds goes to help non-profits like The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (over $7,000 raised this year). They also are a direct sponsor of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training. Look for the jerseys at your local Marathon, Triathlon, and Bicycle Century near you. (to see where Ben Franklin - or his presenter, G.Robin Smith) is presenting or performing next, go through www.goBENgo.info to see.)
That's how Hardwick's RE-Acts to the needs of its community.
Do you need a fundraiser? Consider having Ben Franklin in to your function, sponsored by Hardwick's.

Let us know what things you want here, and I will try and get that info up.

Be well, G.R. Smith (just one of the guys. Also in charge of "Interactive Public Awareness Programs." (Fancy, huh?;-) See www.ben-franklin.org to see what I mean.
